Ripa Bianca nature reserve

The nature reserve Ripa Bianca of Jesi is one of the multiple oasis of the Italian territory managed by the WWF. The whole territory is formed by the typical rural landscape of Marche region characterized by fences and little woods and includes a section of the Esino river and a lake, where the heron nest lives. The oasis is important from the point of view of the biodiversity, as shown by the results of the constant monitoring carried out by the oasis personnel during the years. By the oasis there are also a didactic – naturalistic area that, thanks to its numerous structures permits to grown-ups and children to carry out educational and didactic paths in contact with nature and some observatories for the birdwatching.
