A small historical centre on a natural spur, the most important element of Castel Colonna is Torre Vittoria Colonna, a beautiful battlemented door in bricks, of the XIII century, preserving inside a gravestone of 1457. In the rural landscape it is still possible to notice hints of the cultivation traditional techniques and cattle breeding in a wild state. To notice is the beautiful section of road along the Fosso della Bruciata, near the territory of Senigallia municipality and finally the Church of San Mauro Abate. Beautiful are the foreshortenings of Croce area, the hill of Montesalvatello and the Poggio of Francavilla.
